It is not unusual for the alumni of TCS’ athletic department to enjoy successful collegiate athletic careers. However, it is unusual that so many would enjoy success in the same collegiate athletic department at the same time. On Saturday night, May 11th Cairn University (Langhorne, Pa.) recognized the accomplishments of its teams and student-athletes at it’s annual athletic awards banquet. That’s the ‘usual’ part. The ‘unusual’ part is that three of the student-athletes that received awards roamed Timothy Christian School’s campus in royal blue before they succeeded at Cairn University in crimson red. And if Cairn University’s banquet wasn’t Tiger- blue enough, one of the head coaches handing out awards is also a graduate of Timothy Christian School! The address for the Tigers still says Piscataway, but you could’ve fooled a few that it had crossed state lines on Saturday night.
