On May 2nd and 3rd, the cast and crew of TCS’ Theatre Group presented a touching, funny and memorable rendition of the 1950’s version of the heart-touching story, ‘Father of the Bride’. The cast engaged the talents of young 6th grade students all the way to 12th grade ‘veterans’ of the annual spring drama productions and those talents were meshed by experienced faculty members to put on two delightful shows on TCS’ gymnasium stage. Months of hard work were evidenced in a stellar production of a story that highlights a father’s struggle to let his ‘little’ girl go. The cast and crew of TCS proved that this light-hearted look at the father of the bride’s broken heart is as entertaining in 2014 as it was in the 1950’s.
