TCS’ varsity girls soccer roster is made up of more than fifty percent freshmen and sophomores. A casual observer would look at the make-up of that roster and assume a long season of losses as a result of so much inexperience. However, the Lady Tigers soccer program cannot be classified as such. In the shadows of the varsity boys’ soccer coach iconic 1000th win, the varsity girls team has gotten off to a fast start winning 4 of their first 6 games including important divisional victories against Dunellen High School and South River High School. Led by returning all-division player and senior, Sabrina Solórzano the young Lady Tiger soccer players have had success with a strong passing game and young freshmen able to finish plays at the goal. The future of girls’ soccer at TCS looks very bright as this young teams matures over the next coming years.
