On Friday, October 16, the Timothy Christian School Theater Department welcomed TCS families to its Fall Cabaret, an evening filled with music, laughter, and memorable performances! Students showcased their talents through a variety of musical theater selections and a comedic scene, bringing stories and characters from beloved Broadway musicals and stage productions to life.
The evening featured performances from a wide range of productions, including The Little Mermaid, Waitress, The Great Gatsby, Frozen, Wicked, Hercules, and The Last Five Years. Students also performed a scene from the comedy Ripcord and selections from You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Catch Me If You Can, and Joseph: King of Dreams.
There were heartfelt ballads, energetic musical numbers, and comedic moments. Each performance highlighted the students’ hard work, creativity, and passion for theater. The Fall Cabaret provided an opportunity for students to develop their performance skills, share their gifts, and celebrate the joy of live theater with the TCS community.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team helped bring the production together. Director, Mrs. Ali Pachuski led the production, with assistant director Miss Lindsey Ferreri and assistant director and producer Mrs. Juliana Dagnall. Kevin Bryant served as technical director, with student A/V technicians Joshua George and Kayalee Richards and student stagehands Ben Turenne and Portia Marfo helping ensure the evening ran smoothly.
The Theater Department also extends its sincere thanks to Mrs. Colonnello for providing classroom space and supporting the school’s theater arts program; the box office volunteers who helped sell tickets; Mrs. Badillo, Miss Walker, and Miss Boute for sharing the Chapel; the theater families who support their students through busy schedules and transportation; and the TCS Leadership Team for its continued commitment to theater education!
Coming This Spring: Once Upon a Mattress!
The curtain will rise again on March 4th, 5th, and 6th, when the TCS Theater Department presents Once Upon a Mattress. With a princess, a kingdom, and a very important little pea, this beloved musical promises an entertaining adventure for audiences of all ages!
Congratulations to all the students and staff who made the Fall Cabaret such a wonderful evening and thank you to everyone who continues to support the arts at Timothy Christian School. We look forward to seeing you at our spring production!
