While our students have been enjoying their summer break, there has been plenty happening behind the scenes at Timothy Christian School. Our maintenance team has been working hard caring for our campus, completing projects, making improvements, and preparing our facilities to welcome students and staff back for another school year.

This summer’s work has included updates across several areas of campus, from classrooms and learning spaces to playgrounds and restrooms.

Creating Better Learning Spaces

One of the larger projects this summer took place in Building 3, where the TCS Learning Center received a significant refresh.

The Learning Center, which was previously one large room, has been divided into two separate rooms. This change will provide more flexibility for the space and create additional opportunities for focused instruction and learning throughout the school year.

The carpeting in Building 3 was replaced, and the walls also were painted, giving the building a fresh, updated look and providing students and staff with a cleaner, more comfortable environment.

A Fresh Start from Floor to Ceiling

As part of our annual summer cleaning and maintenance, every tiled floor on campus was professionally cleaned and shined, while every carpeted floor was thoroughly cleaned.

These projects may happen behind the scenes, but they make a significant difference as we prepare our buildings for the thousands of footsteps that will fill our hallways, classrooms, and common spaces throughout the year.

Updates to Our Athletic and Recreation Spaces

Our elementary students will also return to an improved playground. The slide on the elementary playground was repaired, and rubber mulch was added, helping ensure that our outdoor spaces are ready for students to enjoy when they return.

The gym restrooms have received a fresh coat of paint, and the toilets have been updated to automatic flushing toilets, providing a more modern and convenient experience for our student-athletes and helping improve the functionality of the space.

Refreshing Building 6

Work is also underway in the restrooms at the front of Building 6. The bathrooms are receiving a refresh that includes replacing the toilets, sinks, and stall partitions.

Caring for the Place We Call Home

At Timothy Christian School, we are grateful for the many people who work throughout the summer to prepare our campus for the year ahead. While many of these projects take place when the hallways are quiet and the classrooms are empty, their impact will be felt every day once our students return.

From refreshed learning spaces to cleaner floors, improved restrooms, and repaired playground equipment, this summer’s work reflects our commitment to stewarding the resources God has entrusted to us and providing an environment where our students can learn, grow, and thrive.

We look forward to welcoming our Timothy community back to a campus that is ready for another year of Christian education, meaningful learning, and growing together.
