This summer, Timothy Christian School was filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of memories as students made the most of another exciting season of Summer Quest!
In 2026, Timothy Christian once again offered four summer camp opportunities for students and families: two weeks of Tigers Soccer Camp, three weeks of Music Camp, and eight weeks of Elementary and Middle School day camps. With a wide variety of activities, field trips, creative experiences, and opportunities to grow together, Summer Quest provided something for everyone.
A Summer of Record-Breaking Participation
Summer Quest saw tremendous participation throughout the summer. Elementary Camp maintained consistent enrollment numbers week after week, reaching its highest weekly numbers since 2021. Middle School Camp experienced an even bigger milestone, with the highest participation in the program’s history.
Music Camp was also a tremendous success. Directed by Ms. Liz Simmons, all Music Camp spots were filled, giving students the opportunity to spend their summer developing their musical talents while enjoying the community that makes Timothy Christian special.
Elementary Little Explorers director, Aiyana Kezele, and Stephen Van Ness, Director of our Middle School Adventurer Program, shared their excitement for the growth of the programs:
Since taking over the elementary program in 2021, my goal has been to provide a fun, enriching experience for all my campers. It has been so fun to watch the growth of the program over these last 6 years! Seeing over 40 campers in a week is a great testimony to the dedication of our counselors and our directors who pour into the campers week after week!
We had a great year in MS Summer Quest, with notable growth in our program! Some of our summer highlights included our 4th of July Barbecue, our trip to Six Flags, Board Game Design, and completing an escape room both on campus and at Amazing Escape Green Brook!
One parent shared how thankful she was for the middle school program this year:
My daughter had an amazing time attending the summer camp…I am so sad that I did not send her there sooner!

Eight Weeks of Adventure
Elementary and Middle School campers spent eight weeks exploring a different theme and adventure each week. Every week brought a new opportunity to get outside, try something new, build friendships, and create memories with their fellow campers. Both groups also enjoyed time at the pool every week, providing a favorite opportunity to cool off and have fun together.
Elementary campers embarked on a Summer Safari throughout the summer, with each week centered around a different animal theme. Middle School campers had their own full summer of adventures, with each week bringing a new destination and theme.
While campers headed to a new destination each week, Summer Quest was about much more than fun field trips. Throughout the summer, students participated in activities designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and learning.
Campers explored STEM activities, created crafts, played games, participated in Bible-centered activities, enjoyed swimming, and simply had time to build friendships and enjoy being together. Whether students were constructing, creating, competing, exploring, or laughing with their friends, each week offered new opportunities to grow.
For Timothy Christian, that is what makes Summer Quest so special. It is a place where students can experience the excitement of summer while being surrounded by a community that values faith, friendship, learning, and fun.
A Summer to Remember
As another school year approaches, we are grateful for the students, families, directors, counselors, teachers, and staff who made Summer Quest 2026 such a success.
Thank you for making this summer one to remember. We can’t wait to see what adventures next summer will bring!
