We are thrilled to welcome Tatiana Moposita as part of our front office staff as the new Assistant to the Head of School. Tatiana has already been a parent with us for the last two years and now she is excited to join our TCS staff. Make sure to say hello and welcome her as you stop by the front office! Let’s hear from Tatiana why she loves being a TCS parent and now how she is looking forward to this new chapter of being a TCS staff member.

Why did you choose TCS for your child?

As parents, choosing a school for our child was one of the biggest decisions we had to make. More than anything, we wanted Liam to grow up in a Christ-centered environment where his faith would be nurtured alongside his education. My husband and I were both raised in Christian homes, and it was important to us that our children experience that same strong biblical foundation every day.

We had heard wonderful things about Timothy Christian School, but before we even stepped through the doors, we truly felt God placing it on our hearts. The moment we visited, we knew this was where Liam was meant to be. There was such a genuine sense of warmth, love, and purpose that immediately stood out.

Enrolling Liam in the K4 program two years ago was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family. Timothy isn’t just a school; it has become an extension of our home. Every day we know our son is surrounded by people who care for him, encourage him, and point him toward Christ. That peace of mind is something we are incredibly grateful for.

What do you love most about TCS?

What we love most about Timothy Christian School is the people. From the teachers and administrators to the office staff, coaches, volunteers, and even the high school students who lead after school clubs, every person Liam has encountered has shown him kindness, patience, and genuine love.

The school truly feels like family. As parents, there is no greater comfort than dropping your child off knowing they are loved, cared for, and safe when you can’t be with them. Liam is excited to go to school every day because he knows he belongs there, and that speaks volumes.

We also love how intentionally the school invests in every child, not just academically, but spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Every teacher Liam has had has taken the time to understand who he is, celebrate his strengths, and encourage him to become the person God created him to be. That kind of investment leaves a lasting impact.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Family. If I had to choose one word to describe Timothy Christian School, it would be family. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with open arms. The relationships we’ve built with teachers, staff, and other families have made us feel like we truly belong.

Family means supporting one another, celebrating each other’s successes, walking through challenges together, and always leading with love. That is exactly what we’ve experienced at TCS.

It’s rare to find a school where every interaction feels genuine, but that’s what makes Timothy so special. You can feel that the people here don’t just see education as a job, they see it as a calling. That heart is reflected in everything they do.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

Over the past two years, we’ve watched Liam grow in so many beautiful ways. Academically, he has learned so much and gained confidence in his abilities. But what has meant even more to us is the growth we’ve seen in his character and his faith.

His teachers have done an incredible job of recognizing his unique personality, encouraging his strengths, and helping him become more confident in who he is. They’ve taken the time to truly know him, and that has made all the difference.

We’ve watched him become kinder, more compassionate, more curious, and more excited to learn. He talks about Jesus, remembers Bible stories, prays with confidence, and brings those lessons home with him. As parents, that’s exactly what we hoped for when we chose a Christ-centered education.

We are so thankful for the love, guidance, and encouragement every teacher, staff member, and volunteer has poured into our son. Timothy Christian School has played an incredible role in shaping who he is becoming, and we couldn’t be more grateful to be part of this community.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

Although Liam is only entering 1st grade, we already see TCS laying the foundation for his future. They are teaching him not only strong academics but also character, responsibility, confidence, and a love for learning. Most importantly, they’re helping him build a Christ-centered foundation that will guide him wherever God leads him. We truly believe those values will prepare him not just for college, but for life.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

I would tell them that choosing TCS has been one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. The teachers and staff truly care, the community feels like family, and every day we have peace knowing Liam is loved, safe, and growing academically, spiritually, and personally.

It has been amazing to watch how much he’s learned in just two years. Seeing him become a confident reader and excited to learn has been such a blessing, and we know that’s a reflection of the incredible teachers who have poured into him. We have been so impressed with the education he’s received that we can’t wait for our daughter to attend TCS as well. We truly couldn’t imagine our children anywhere else.

Why did you choose to work at TCS?

Working at TCS felt like a prayer answered. As a parent, I had already fallen in love with the school, its mission, and the incredible community that has poured into my son over the past two years. When I began looking for a job, I truly felt God opening the door for me to be here.

Since my very first day, everyone has been so welcoming, kind, and supportive. There is a genuine sense of peace on campus, and it’s clear that the people here love what they do and care deeply for one another and for every student.

One of my favorite parts of working at TCS is getting to see Liam on campus. Being able to watch him thrive in the same place where I get to serve is such a gift and a reminder that this is exactly where God has called our family. I’m grateful to be part of a community that is not only shaping students academically but also pointing them to Christ every single day.
