Hannah (Cruver) Sibaja graduated from Timothy Christian School in 2011. We are proud to share this new chapter in her life as she has recently opened a salon in Lebanon, NJ called Haven Beauty and Wellness. As stated on her website, “Haven is a mission-driven beauty and wellness space created to help women rest, recharge, and feel cared for — inside and out.”

Balancing multiple roles like being a mom, wife, and a business owner, while wanting to give her best in every area is challenging, but Hannah is excited to bring her passion for cosmetology and unite it with her heart to serve her community!

Let’s hear from Hannah how the Biblical foundation she received at TCS helped bring her to where she is today.

What do you love most about TCS?

I love that TCS is faith based and places a strong emphasis on values. It creates an environment where character and integrity are just as important as academics.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Close. Because it’s not a large school, you truly have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both peers and staff.

Describe one of your favorite memories of TCS.

Being part of the soccer team was one of my favorite experiences. We had amazing coaches and we built such strong bonds as a team.

From your own experience, why do you believe it was important for you to attend TCS?

It gave me a strong foundation during my high school years.

How are faith and learning integrated at TCS?

Because the teachers are grounded in their faith, it naturally flows into their teaching. Faith isn’t separate, it’s woven into everyday learning and interactions.

In what ways did TCS prepare you for college and beyond?

The academics were challenging and prepared me well for college, while being involved in sports taught me discipline and teamwork, skills I still use today.

What would you tell a friend to encourage them to send their child to TCS?

I would tell them that the strong Christian foundation provides peace of mind – you can trust what your children are being taught, both academically and spiritually.

Where are you today?

I earned my associate’s degree in biblical studies and my Cosmetology License. Today, I own Haven Beauty and Wellness, a salon where I combine business and ministry.

What do you like best about your career? What you are most proud of?

I’ve always wanted a career where I could give back, and now I get to do that every day. We serve clients Tuesday-Saturday, and dedicate Mondays to offering free services to those affected by homelessness, incarceration and addiction. The foundation of the business is Jesus, and my goal is to reflect Him in everything we do.
