Timothy Christian School families gathered for a truly special evening at this year’s Father-Daughter Dance, an event that continues to grow into a cherished tradition within our school community. With 85 fathers and daughters in attendance, the night was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments that will not soon be forgotten.

From the moment guests arrived, the room was filled with excitement as daughters, dressed in their finest, were escorted by their dads for an evening dedicated to celebrating their unique and important bond. Events like these reflect the heart of Timothy Christian School as we strive to create opportunities for our families to connect, build relationships, and make lasting memories together.

One of the highlights of the evening was a special dance lesson led by instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Studios. From 7:15 to 8:00, fathers and daughters took to the floor to learn the basics of a waltz set to the timeless song “Butterfly Kisses.” It was a touching and memorable experience, as many dads embraced the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and share a meaningful moment with their daughters. The dance floor quickly filled with smiles, laughter, and a few impressive moves.

The energy continued throughout the night thanks to DJ Echo (Jesus Perez), who kept the celebration lively with music that had everyone on their feet. The girls especially enjoyed the music, dancing and singing karaoke with enthusiasm and excitement to every song played.

More than just a fun evening, the Father-Daughter Dance is a reflection of Timothy Christian School’s commitment to fostering strong family relationships. These shared experiences play an important role in shaping students’ lives, reinforcing the value of connection, intentional time together, and Christ-centered community.

As this beloved tradition continues, we are grateful for the opportunity to host events that bring families closer together. Thank you to Mrs. McInerney and all who helped make this evening so special. We look forward to many more nights like this in the years to come!
