Meet the Koshy Family! They have been a part of the TCS family for many years now as Jason Koshy is an alumnus who graduated in 2006. He returned to TCS last year as a dad! His wife, Sara, has had a great experience as a TCS mom and this year we’re excited that she will be joining the TCS staff as the secondary school administrative assistant. Their two children will be heading into 5th and 3rd grade! Let’s hear from Jason and Sara about why they are happy to have their children be TCS legacies.
Why did you choose TCS for your children?
We chose TCS because we want our children to have an excellent education in every way! At TCS, we know the truth of God’s word will impact everything they are taught!
What do you love most about TCS?
We love the people at TCS! Everyone always has a smiling face, and the teachers really show us that they want the absolute best for our kids!
What is one word that best describes the school? Why?
Faithful! At TCS, we see that teachers and administration truly aim to be faithful to God’s love and truth while also being faithful to deliver an excellent education.
In what ways have you seen your children grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?
My kids have become more and more comfortable in their classroom settings. Learning with like-minded teachers and peers makes an impact on their motivation and comfort in school.
How is TCS preparing your children for college and beyond?
TCS is providing our elementary aged children with a solid foundation in education, all presented from a biblical world view. They are also regularly memorizing Scripture verses, giving presentations, and engaging in hands-on learning!
What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?
Hey, we’ve done it all! We’ve public schooled, home schooled, and now we are at TCS. Enrolling them at TCS has been the best decision we’ve made, and we’re confidently sticking with it! After navigating the challenges of different schooling methods, we have been so thankful to find a home for our entire family here. At TCS, the goal is to partner with the entire family to educate our children–we truly, couldn’t ask for more!
