This year’s High School Field Day was a memorable and exhilarating event. The students’ enthusiasm and participation was truly commendable!

The Student Council worked hard in organizing and coordinating the day. Their hard work and dedication paid off, creating an event that brought the high school community together in a spirit of fun and friendly competition.

Staff members also contributed their time and energy to ensure the day ran smoothly. The high school teachers were either team leaders or hosted an event in their room. The support and guidance from the teachers were invaluable in making the event a success.

During the morning’s devotions, Mr. DiSebastian reminded the students of their individual callings and emphasized the importance each one of us has in God’s family, regardless of the size or nature of our gifts. It was a meaningful reminder to the students that they all play a significant role in serving and impacting the body of Christ. He encouraged them to take every opportunity to be God’s hands and feet in this world!

The remainder of the day was full of exciting activities and spirited competitions. Highlights from the day included an intense scavenger hunt where teams scoured the campus for letters to unscramble the mystery sentence: “TIGERS ROAR.” The relay races were nothing short of intense, with color teams displaying remarkable energy and teamwork in various challenging activities. To cap off the day, the dodgeball tournament brought out the competitive spirit in everyone, making it an event to remember.

Junior, Aaron George, was on the Blue team during Field Day. He said, “My favorite part of the day was the scavenger hunt because we were grouped with kids who we wouldn’t normally hang out with. I was able to connect with people who I didn’t think I would. Overall, I was able to grow closer with other people and develop new connections and I’m grateful for that!”

The top teams with the most points were awarded exciting prizes! The White team won first place and decided that their prize would be a Pizza Party. Green team came in second and won an ice cream party and Blue came in third winning them a dress down day.

We are thankful for the students’ active participation and sportsmanship throughout the day. We are looking forward to Riot Night and more exciting events and moments to bring the students together in the future. Enthusiasm and teamwork truly make our school community a vibrant and exceptional one.
