Why did you choose TCS for your child?

I chose TCS for my children because I believe public education cannot guide them through the deeper questions of life, and it cannot use the Word of God as it’s standard of truth. I chose TCS because I am not only investing in my children’s academic career, but I am also investing in their character and spiritual life. I want them to be surrounded by adults who not only teach them academically, but also teach them to think with a Christian worldview, filtering ideas using godly values. My sons attend TCS because I believe our school-family partnership will encourage my sons to thrive, to equip them to recognize Christ in all subject areas of learning, and to respond in obedience to His call to be a transforming influence in society.

What do you love most about TCS?

The sense of community. I appreciate that parents, teachers, and admin can come together every Friday to pray for the school and students. I appreciate that the teachers are Christians. I love the school spirit I see when I attend my sons’ basketball games.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Community. They encourage parents, students and even extended family, like grandparents, to be involved.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

They are learning to advocate for themselves. They are also maintaining and standing firm in their Christian faith when peer pressure is taking place.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

The Christian worldview and standard at TCS is preparing my sons to stay strong in their Christian beliefs beyond high school.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

If you want your child to attend a school that aligns with your Christian and personal values, then TCS is the right place to be.
