Why did you choose TCS for your child?

We chose TCS for our children because we wanted to ensure that they had a Christ-centered education with a solid academic foundation. I loved the fact that when I did research on the website I remember that 95% of the students went to college upon graduation. I also loved the fact that the student body was very diverse.

What do you love most about TCS?

That the school and the staff reinforce the same Christian values we instill in our children at home. They value confidence, and build strong leaders for the future. My daughter is not afraid to tell the world about how good God is and why we should all serve Him. I also love that the school stands for academic excellence.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Invested. The school and the staff are invested in the well-being of the children and their families.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

My daughter is very confident. When she had some struggles early on I watched how Miss Janho loved and believed in my daughter. She heard my concerns and did all she could to reinforce her strengths and develop her areas of opportunity. I believe that 3rd grade was a turning point and a year of growth for our daughter and each year she continues to get stronger and stronger. The staff wants each child to succeed and that is a blessing.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

The school creates an environment where children are encouraged to go beyond what is expected. They are given leadership opportunities not only in the classroom but also during the school chapel. This builds confidence and leadership qualities that will help them to be successful in college and in the workforce. In elementary school they are given the opportunity to speak in front of large groups of people and research topics on influential leaders and foreign countries. .They learn that there are people less fortunate than them and thereby understand  the importance of giving back, be it whether for the school missions trip or donating to the ‘Stuff the Truck’ food drive. This also helps them understand the importance of helping others. These lessons will last them a lifetime.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

If you want your child to have a Christ-centered education, if you want to teach your child that prayer can help them through their problems as well as helps others, if you want your child to value education and to have peers that share the same values, if you want your child to have a solid academic curriculum that is not just challenging but also offers support when in need, if you want a school that unapologetically serves the Lord and encourages the children to do the same, if a diverse student body is important to you, if you want your child to be set up to go to college, then TCS is the place for you!
