At Timothy Christian School, we are committed to academic excellence and Christ-centered education and this year’s student achievements in regional academic competitions are a testament to both. Our elementary and middle school students proudly represented TCS in spelling, Bible knowledge, and math contests across New Jersey, earning top placements and team honors.
Strong Showing at the Spelling Contest
Students in grades 2–8 showcased their language skills at the Spelling Contest hosted by Abundant Life Academy. Representing Timothy Christian School with excellence, our students demonstrated not only strong spelling abilities but also outstanding character and composure.
We are proud to celebrate the following individual achievements:
- Michelle – 3rd Place (Grade 3)
- Sebastian – 3rd Place (Grade 6)
- Chloe – 1st Place (Grade 7)
As a school, TCS earned 2nd place overall, bringing home a plaque in recognition of the team’s hard work and preparation.
Special thanks to lead teacher Emily Stevenson for organizing and supporting our students throughout this enriching academic opportunity.
Bible Contest Success at American Christian School
Our students also competed in the Bible Contest at American Christian School, where they applied their knowledge of Scripture and demonstrated a deep understanding of God’s Word.
We congratulate the following students:
- Jeremy – 1st Place (Grade 4)
- Danny – 3rd Place (Grade 4)
- Jacob – 3rd Place (Grade 8)
Both our Elementary School and Middle School teams earned 3rd place overall, each receiving plaques for their achievement.
We are grateful to Mr. Covington and our dedicated TCS parent chaperones for their support in making this experience possible. Events like this reflect our mission of developing students who grow academically while deepening their faith in Christ.
Math Contest Achievements with NNJCSA
Timothy Christian School students also participated in the NNJCSA Math Contest, at Eastern Christian School, where they applied critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a competitive setting.
We are excited to recognize:
- Callum – 2nd Place (Grade 4)
- Josiah – 3rd Place (Grade 3)
In addition, our elementary team earned 2nd place in the Math Relay, highlighting their teamwork and mathematical excellence.

Celebrating Student Achievement and Christian Education
These academic competitions provide valuable opportunities for Timothy Christian School students to grow and compete with other students outside of the classroom. From spelling and math to Bible knowledge, our students continue to pursue excellence in all areas while reflecting Christ in their actions and attitudes.
We are incredibly proud of every student who participated and represented TCS so well. Their dedication, preparation, and sportsmanship are a reflection of the strong partnership between our teachers, families, and Christ-centered curriculum.
