Timothy Christian School’s annual High School Spirit Week was once again a highlight of the year with five days full of creativity, friendly competition, and school spirit leading up to the high-energy conclusion of Riot Night. Each day brought its own theme, activities, and opportunities for classes to earn points toward the final championship.

Below is a recap of this unforgettable week!

Monday – Nerd Day

Students kicked off the week by arriving in full “nerd” style with pocket protectors, taped glasses, suspenders, and all. Monday’s competitions included the annual Anything but a Backpack challenge, which filled the halls with laundry baskets, coolers, strollers, buckets, and just about anything a student could carry books in. At lunch the students had an eating competition where the seniors came in first and took the lead to start off the week.

Tuesday – Twin/Triplet Day

On Tuesday, the halls were packed with matching outfits, from coordinated costumes to identical casual wear, showcasing creativity and friendship. The crowd-favorite Table Surfing competition took place during the day, bringing cheers, laughter, and plenty of school spirit. Shout out to the juniors who took the win during this event!

Wednesday – Character Day

Wednesday was all about stepping into someone else’s shoes as students arrived dressed as superheroes, book characters, sports players, historical icons, and everything in between. The whole high school gathered on the field during 6th period for the classic Egg Relay and Egg Toss, which tested skill and teamwork. Seniors took the win for both of these Egg events!

Thursday – Soccer Moms & BBQ Dads

Perhaps the funniest dress-up day of the week, Thursday, brought out aprons, barbecue tongs, cargo shorts, Stanley cups, vests, and oversized sunglasses. Students fully committed to embracing peak suburban parent energy. During lunch, Ms. McKay’s Mystery Box Stacking game added excitement as classes battled for valuable Spirit Week points. The juniors won this event to challenge the seniors wins the day before.

Friday – Class T-Shirt Day & Stuff the Truck

Friday was the big day! The high school was filled with a sea of colors and class shirts. Students loaded up the truck from My Neighbor’s Pantry with all of the cans and non-perishable items they had collected throughout the week. The seniors collected the most cans with over 2,000 items coming in over all! Students competed in the Tiger Relay during 8th period, with seniors coming in first place and all grades earning their final Spirit Week points before heading into the evening’s ultimate showdown.

Riot Night – Final Results

The gym was electric as each class presented their cheers, competed in games, and showcased their t-shirts and banners. It was a night filled with teamwork, creativity, and joy as the entire high school came together to celebrate community and friendly rivalry. Congratulations to the senior class of 2026 who came in first place for the second year in a row!

Spirit Week and Riot Night at Timothy Christian School was an unforgettable celebration of unity, enthusiasm, and school pride. Thank you to the faculty, staff, administrators, and student council members who made the week a success!
