On Wednesday, November 5, Timothy Christian School elementary students gathered for one of the most anticipated chapel events of the year: Christian Hero Day. This special day invites students to learn about men and women who have lived out their faith with boldness and integrity and then present short speeches about these inspiring figures.
Students were encouraged to choose someone who has made a meaningful impact in the Christian community. They researched, prepared two-to-three-minute speeches, and even had the option to dress in costume to represent their chosen hero. The result was a morning filled with enthusiasm, learning, and powerful reminders of how God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.
Christian Hero Day was divided into two chapels in order to highlight students across multiple grade levels.
Nine students presented during the Lower Elementary Chapel. Each chose a Christian hero whose example encouraged their faith.

A Day of Inspiration
Christian Hero Day is not only a public speaking opportunity, but also teaches students to recognize and celebrate people who have lived faithfully for Jesus in all kinds of roles. From missionary work and preaching to music, activism, athletics, and writing, each hero represented showed that God can use anyone who is willing to serve Him.
Mrs. McInerney, our elementary principal, shared how proud she was of every student who participated. Their dedication, creativity, and courage made this year’s Christian Hero Day a wonderful celebration of faith and learning.
We look forward to seeing how these lessons will inspire our students to follow Christ with the same passion and purpose as the heroes they studied.
