Friday, October 3, 2025, was a perfect day for golf as bright sunshine, blue skies, and a wonderful sense of community filled the course at Timothy Christian School’s annual Golf Classic. With 94 golfers teeing off, this year’s event was our biggest success yet, raising over $27,000 to support TCS students and programs!

The field included a great mix of participants. There were 25 alumni, 6 parents of alumni, 5 current parents, 9 sponsors, and 49 friends of TCS all coming together to enjoy friendly competition and fellowship for a great cause.

The day began with freshly brewed coffee from Chapter 2 Coffee Roasters and bagels provided by Lord’s Bagels. As the golfers checked in, they had the opportunity to bid on some interesting auction items and purchase mulligans which came in handy for some. This year our gift was a Timothy hat and TriCon Builders also provided tumblers.

Golfers were treated to some exciting challenges throughout the day, including the always-popular “Beat the Pro” contest with Jenna Birch from Backswing Golf Events, who brought both skill and enthusiasm to the course. Golfers competed in our annual Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole-in-One contests.

Between rounds, golfers refueled at The Turn with a lineup of favorites: Doc’s Hot Dogs, grilled to perfection, Juan’s Famous Chili, and this year we had Hershey’s Ice Cream Treats!

We wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner catered by Famous Dave’s. The winners of the prizes were announced, and sponsors were recognized for their contributions. Congratulations to the winners of “Longest Drive” for men, David Ferraez and “Longest Drive” for women, Kristen Pantaleo. Congratulations to “Closest to the Pin” winner John Janho IV. Congratulations to our first place winners, Team Argosy: Brian Phillips, Jeremy Dunham, Joe Iskander, and David Guarino. The day finished with giving away some raffle ticket prizes from our putting contest!

We are deeply grateful to all who made this year’s Golf Classic such a success, our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and the many friends of TCS who support our mission. Your generosity helps us continue to provide a Christ-centered education that prepares students to think critically, live biblically, and lead courageously.

We can’t wait to see everyone again next year for another great day on the green!
