Fondly known as the “Staten Island Kid,” Daniel Phillips attended TCS for high school and graduated in 2005. After graduating, Daniel studied at St. John’s University and New York Law School. He joined his current New York City law firm, Belkin Burden Goldman, LLP in 2019, and became a Partner in the litigation department in 2023. Daniel enjoys being able to use his God given abilities to help clients and resolve legal disputes. He was awarded  “Rising Star” by NY Metro Super Lawyers in 2022 and 2023. He has been published in the New York Law Journal for many favorable decisions. Recently, Daniel has been featured as an expert attorney on Fox News talking about current real estate issues in New York and the United States.

Daniel is the proud uncle of two TCS elementary students and participates in our Annual Golf Classic with his brother Brian Phillips (Class of 2003). Their team even came in first place last year!

What do you love most about TCS?

TCS provides a great education not only for the core curriculum, but also in the Bible and Christian values.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Dedication. The Faculty, Board Members, and Staff are all dedicated to the school’s core values and a Christian education.

Describe one of your favorite memories of TCS.

One of my favorite memories was the senior class trip to the Dominican Republic. The trip provided me with an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the world and bond with my classmates.

From your own experience, why do you believe it was important for you to attend TCS?

I believe TCS gave me a great education, a deeper knowledge of the Bible and Christianity, and perspective of other worldviews.

In what ways did TCS prepare you for college and beyond?

TCS provided me with the education and skills needed to excel in college and law school, along with the faculty helping me realize my God given skills and encouraging me to pursue a career as an attorney.
