We are excited to welcome all our new families to Timothy Christian School! We already have over 100 new “tigers” enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year!
Our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Welcoming Committee has been out and about personally welcoming new families. They are in the process of delivering an “I’m a New Tiger” lawn sign to each new family along with a TCS drawstring backpack for each new student.
Here’s what one of our new families shared, “Thank you for taking your time to deliver the lawn sign to our home. It was great to meet your family! Thank you so much for welcoming us!”
Our parent volunteers have been equally blessed. “Thank you for allowing me to be part of this undertaking/blessing! I met so many nice folks. I was able to connect with parents and am still receiving messages of thanks!” said Letty Contreras.
On Tuesday, September 6th all of our elementary families are invited to bring their students to our Meet the Teacher event where they will have an opportunity to meet their new teacher, see their new classroom, put supplies in their desks, and meet a few other students from their class!
New middle school and high school students are invited to our Connections program from 9:00 am -12 pm on Tuesday, September 6th. Each new student will be paired with a current student “buddy” who will show them around campus, introduce them to their teachers, participate in some student council led activities, and conclude with a barbeque lunch.
For those families who enrolled later this summer, they will be receiving their lawn signs and drawstring backpacks at our Meet the Teacher and Connections events.
We are looking forward to a great new school year with all our new and returning families!
