The 7th Annual Golf Classic, held on Friday, Oct. 1 at the Warrenbrook Golf Course, was our best yet!
Our 79 golfers, including alumni, parents, sponsors, and friends, were greeted upon arrival by TCS’s new golf coach, Josh Decker, and some of his potential golf team students who delivered the golfers’ bags to their carts. Golfers then checked in to receive their gift, a TCS golf towel, and swag bag with goodies from our sponsors. The next stop was breakfast at the clubhouse where Robin Di Fiore served them bagels donated by Sam I Am, coffee and a breakfast bag full of fruit and snacks donated by TCS parents.
At 8:00am all golfers made their way to their carts ready to begin. Evan Waldron, TCS class of ‘14, gave the rules and details for the day. Lisa Dyer, Director of Advancement, welcomed and thanked everyone and prayed before sending everyone off to the course.
Our golfers greatly enjoyed recording their scores and checking the leaderboard on our GolfStatus app throughout the day.
Some of the highlights of the day included Dr. Smock serving hot dogs with homemade chili by Juan Salas at ‘the turn’ and a delicious lunch provided by Famous Dave’s.
The day concluded with sponsorship recognition and prizes for our winners on the course. Click here to see all our sponsors!Congratulations to all our winners:

While no one won the GMC truck at the Hole in One, one of our elementary dads, David Holmes, landed just 4 feet from the hole!
Sponsorships, golfers, and donations totaled over $26,000! The net proceeds will benefit the TCS Annual Fund – tuition assistance, academic and athletic programs.
We thank God for the spectacular day of weather, all our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, all who donated prizes and food, GolfStatus and the Warrenbrook Golf Course. It is all of you who made this day possible and are helping make a difference in the lives of our students at TCS- we are truly grateful for you all!
If you missed out this year, we hope you can join us next year!
