On July 7, 2016, Timothy Christian School received word that they had been awarded a $75,000 grant from the US Department of Homeland Security. Going up against institutions nationally, TCS was one of 58 recipients in the state of NJ to receive funding to improve the security of their campus. Over the next 2-3 years the grant money will be used to provide access control on all 47 doors of our buildings and to install security cameras throughout campus.
Through money just received from Middlesex County, Timothy Christian School has already been making some security improvements this summer. Access control to the main doors in building 1 and security cameras around the gym and building 1 are being installed and will be functional by the end of July.
While we trust in the Lord for our protection, we also want to do all we can to help our students stay safe while at school. We are praising the Lord for the funding He is providing!
