Sarah1 copyTimothy Christian School students traveled to the ACSI Northeast Fine Arts Festival on March 8th. The festival, held at Messiah College, included artwork from students representing over 40 Christian high schools.  13 TCS students submitted artwork for judging, along with TCS art teacher Debbie Rooney. Her work, Joe’s Garden, was displayed in the instructor’s gallery at the festival.

Sarah Saquian, a TCS senior, took a 1st place metal with a Superior score in the Art Objects category.  Sarah’s artwork, “Elephant Box” was a ceramic box beautifully glazed with a swerved carved lid finished off with an elephant sculpture created on it’s very top.   All of the students who submitted work were awarded additional high level ribbons. Students also enjoyed art workshops while in attendance.
