Seniors Nikhil Paul and Eric Sibilla of Timothy Christian School have each been named a Commended Student in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. Both Nikhil and Eric are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2016 competition by taking the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
A Letter of Commendation from Timothy Christian School and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented to the two young men at graduation in the spring.
Nikhil and Eric’s accomplishments, in addition to their leadership roles at Timothy Christian School, vouch for the academic excellence and overall student experience that continues to be produced in the hallways of the Piscataway-based school.
