The 2015-16 varsity boys’ soccer season opened on Wednesday, September 9 with an offensive explosion. The Tigers used a combination of experience, youth, and pre-season hard-work to produce 7 goals in a 7 – 0 defeat of Perth Amboy Tech High School. Junior, Josiah Desantos, pumped in a career high 4 goals. Josiah added an additional goal in two days later in a narrow 1-0 defeat of South Amboy High School. Josiah’s opening week 5 goal performance was enough to be added Home News Tribune’s ‘Performers of the Week’ feature. The varsity boys soccer team takes their undefeated divisional record into an important match up against East Brunswick Tech High School on Monday, September 14.
