Faith Johnson of Timothy Christian School has been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. Faith is being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by her outstanding performance on the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
A Letter of Commendation from Timothy Christian School and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented to Faith at graduation in the spring.
Faith Johnson began her academic career at Timothy Christian School in the Fall of 2003 as a wide-eyed first grade student excited to learn. Eleven years later Faith’s excitement to learn has not faded and has earned her quite an accomplishment. Faith’s award is a testament to her academic diligence, loving family, and supportive faculty at Timothy Christian School.
