Founded in 1949, Timothy Christian School (school code: 311-212) operates on the premise that the Word of God requires that parents be responsible for the education of their children (Deut. 6; Psalm 78). The Christian home, Christian school, and the Church must work together to provide consistent Christian training. Our school works in harmony with parents to achieve this objective. Therefore, we strive to provide the finest academic education possible in accordance with God’s Word. Timothy Christian School is a K-12 independent, co-educational college preparatory school. TCS is accredited by both the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.
Unity through diversity is important at Timothy Christian School. It is reflected in the multi-cultural neighborhood of our 23-acre Piscataway campus near the Edison border . More importantly, our diversity in ethnic and denominational backgrounds, within our staff and student body, creates an opportunity to put Biblical truths into practice daily. Our families represent over 120 churches in the Central Jersey area and they come together at Timothy Christian School as one body, united by Jesus Christ. We work together – teacher and parent, church and school – to educate fully and glorify the Lord completely in every aspect of learning.
The faculty and staff is comprised of committed, Born-Again Christians from a variety of denominational and ethnic backgrounds. Collectively, the faculty holds 23 graduate degrees and two doctorate degrees and the 51 members of the teaching staff average 13 years of teaching experience.
