The 2013-14 athletic year at Timothy Christian School was jam-packed with incredible accomplishments. One of those accomplishments set a new precedent for individual achievement in the athletic department. It was the first time a student-athlete had achieved such recognition for Timothy Christian School. And it happened twice.
As the 2013 fall season concluded, David Figueroa was unanimously voted to the all-county team by the soccer coaches of the Greater Middlesex Conference and the Home News Tribune. The full article can be found here.
The spring season was full of promise for Evan Waldron as his performance on the golf course in 2012 was a strong one for Timothy Christian School. Evan did not disappoint as was ranked the #1 golfer in the Greater Middlesex Conference’s Blue Division and top-5 in the entire conference. The full article can be found here.
David and Evan’s accomplishments this year represent the first time a Timothy Christian School athlete has been named ‘All-County’. David and Evan were both recipients of the William Bills Athletic Endurance Award which recognizes any student-athlete that plays 3 seasons for their entire high school career at Timothy Christian School. Both of these young men embarked on a long four year journey and reaped their just rewards at the conclusion of that journey.
