Why did you choose TCS for your child?

I chose TCS because I wanted to ensure that our beliefs were solidified, by putting my child in an environment that not just teaches the Word but also meets the academic standards of other prestigious schools.

What do you love most about TCS?

What I love most is that the staff at the school knows who you are. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I am unable to participate in a lot of the school activities. However, for the times I am able to go, they greet me by name. Not too many places take the time to get to know the parents also. This is a big deal for me because it shows that while they care for the kids, they also want to make the parents feel involved and be a part of the family that TCS is.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Prayerful. I am a big believer that prayer is a lifestyle and is what we should always do. The Friday morning prayers and the prayers during Zoom meetings all prove why TCS has been so successful and been provided for all these years. James 5:16 says “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Because of their constant prayers, God has proven through TCS that He will provide ALL of their needs according to the riches of His glory.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

I have seen him grow spiritually, socially, and academically. Being around other Christian kids has allowed him to be more open speaking about Jesus and sharing it with non-believers. He is  excited to share it with everyone. His academics have improved tremendously and there is a great difference from where he started in the fine-motor skills and reading department to where he is now. He keeps improving and I can’t thank his teachers enough!

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

Being taught more about Jesus coupled with excellent academics, will allow my son to be able to operate in a world that doesn’t believe in the things of God. He will have a Christian moral compass and still be able to navigate successfully through his life without compromise.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

If you are looking for a place that not just strengthens your child(ren) in the Lord but also stretches their minds academically, this is absolutely the place. I am confident that I will continue to enroll my son here until it’s time for college. I pray that everyone gets a chance to invest in their child(ren) to ensure they become exactly who God has destined them to be.
