In November, TCS’ Board of Trustees asked Dr. Hartzler if he would remove the title ‘interim’ and lead us into the 2013-14 school year. In the ‘Superintendent’s Communication Hour’ on Tuesday night, January 29th it was announced that Dr. Hartzler had accepted the offer.
Over the past 12 months Dr. Hartzler has continued TCS’ rich heritage of Godly leadership and academic excellence. TCS has grown almost 30 students since September, and campus tours are moving along at a dizzying pace as evidence of the progress being made on campus.
Dr. Hubert Hartzler has a rich heritage in Biblically-based education and a heart committed to making disciples. He has served the Lord in Christian education for the past 40 years. Dr. Hartzler is a graduate of Calvary Bible College with a major in Bible and Christian Education. He earned a M.A. and Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He has held positions as Graduate School Dean; Vice-President of Student Services; Chairman of the Teacher Education Department; Superintendent of Christian Schools; high school principal; and classroom teacher.
