Why did you choose TCS for your child?
We chose TCS because when we looked at the world around, we realized that our son needed to be in an environment where he would be influenced by Godly people, who would guide him and teach him the right principles and precepts to live by, as he goes on in his life. Therefore, Timothy Christian seemed to be the logical answer.
What do you love most about TCS?
As TCS parents for over five years now, we love the hospitality and kindness that TCS has shown to our family, and especially to our son as a TCS student. It confirms that we have indeed made the right decision.
What is one word that best describes the school? Why?
“Consistency” describes TCS the best. This is simply because of the Christian values that have been consistently instilled in our son. He was able to quote scriptural verses right from the time he started in 5th grade through now as a sophomore in HS.
In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?
Our child has not only learned lessons from the Bible but has also learned to respect others who may or may not be different from him. He has also developed into a fine young man, and we give thanks, in large part to Mr. David Carroll (Music/Bible teacher) for being an integral part of that development.
How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?
TCS has introduced courses where students can receive college credits, and that certainly goes a very long way towards succeeding at the college level.
What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?
I would tell another parent to consider which voices they want to influence their child. Every parent needs to look at where their child is currently,and contemplate whether or not they are getting the proper encouragement and information they need to succeed every day in a classroom/school setting.
