Timothy Partners Organization

TPO Mission
In partnership with the Christian home and church, we strive to provide the finest Christ-centered education, equipping students to live productive, God-glorifying lives. To this and our Lord Jesus Christ we are devoted.

The purpose of the Timothy Partners’ Organization is to engage the parent community in areas of service and support that will augment and enhance the Timothy experience for our students and teachers.

TPO has a number of committees that may pique your interest. We want to encourage each of you to participate in any of the activities of the TPO so please contact us at the e-mail address below. A representative involved in those particular committees or activities will then contact you.

Along with the TPO Committees and activities, TPO encourages you to join the TCS Association so that parents can have a direct say in voting matters for the school. The Association is the guiding organization for the school and appoints a Board of Directors to work with the school Superintendent in managing the school.

To join the Association, please complete an application form (available in the main office) and send it to the President of the Board or to the office staff in Building 1. Your application will then be reviewed by the Board. If approved, you will be able to vote at the Annual Meeting in May and any voting matters that may arise at other quarterly meetings held throughout the year.

TPO occasionally has meetings where you can directly see, hear and participate in planning of upcoming events throughout the year. Notices for these meetings will be distributed and your presence is most welcome!

TPO raises funds for the school lunchroom and the athletic program, but also has a yearly project that it funds. Past projects include the school sign outside Building 1, tables and chairs for the lunchroom and media center, and computer equipment for the new lunch voucher system.

So, come join us. Meet fellow parents and become a part of the day-to-day activities of TCS as a member of TPO!

Hospitality Committee
This committee’s main function is to provide refreshments at TPO meetings and other events as needed.

Lunchroom Cashiers
Daily volunteers are needed to operate our lunchroom registers. Volunteers are needed from 10:30 to 1:30 to operate the register as well as clear the tables and sweep the floor between the lunch periods. Three volunteers, plus subs, are needed each day. This can be a once a week or every other week commitment. The TPO provides ice cream, juice, milk and assorted snacks, as well as a variety of school supplies for purchase. This service is vital to the financial success of the TPO and the proceeds comprise the majority of our fundraising efforts for the year.

Moms-In-Touch
This is a group of parents who meet weekly on Friday mornings from 8:45-9:45 in the conference room. The participants in Moms-In-Touch are committed to praying for those children represented in the group and the school, as outlined in the guidelines of Moms-In-Touch International.

Teacher Appreciation Committee
This committee plans and executes all the activities of the annual Teacher Appreciation Week in May. The week, in its entirety, requires a tremendous amount of effort. Volunteers are needed for many specific tasks which can be suited to your individual schedule.

Music Booster Club
At the band and vocal music concerts, this committee lends support to the Choir and Band Directors by providing decorations, door ushers and other needs of the teachers involved. Additionally, they will coordinate the purchase of an appreciation gift for all involved.

Uniform Exchange
TPO organizes and staffs a closet of like-new Flynn and O’Hara uniforms. There will be certain opportunities throughout the year both to donate used uniforms and purchase them. All donated uniforms must be clean and in excellent condition in order to receive credit. You can purchase these items for a nominal fee with either the credit you’ve earned or with cash. Please note that this is not an extension of the Flynn and O’Hara store, but rather a service provided by TPO and, therefore, all items may not be available.
