National Merit Scholar Awards
Timothy Christian School’s Class of 2010 and 2011 each included four students who received letters of commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program for outstanding performance on the preliminary SAT, which is the qualifying test for a National Merit Scholarship.
Above the level of commendation for the National Merit Scholarship Program, students can be selected as National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists. From there, they are involved in a highly competitive evaluation process to select the National Merit Scholarship Award-Winning Finalists.
