Why did you choose TCS for your child?

We chose TCS first and foremost because we wanted our son, Nolan, to experience a Christian education. We wanted him to be able to learn more about Jesus, and be able to openly talk about Him and ask questions. My husband is also a TCS alum, he went to TCS from kindergarten all the way through his senior year. Being able to send Nolan to the same school has been such a blessing to our family.

What do you love most about TCS?

We love the atmosphere that TCS provides. It is such a warm and welcoming environment. We are a new family to the school and we have felt so welcomed by all of the staff! Ranging from teachers to administration- they make you feel like you are part of a family.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Family. I absolutely think this word best describes Timothy. You get that sense as soon as you walk into the building. Not just amongst the students, but also amongst the teachers! And that feeling is extended to the TCS families as well.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

I have seen Nolan’s love for Jesus grow tremendously! He absolutely loves learning more about him and being able to pray and read his Bible at school.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

I believe that it’s helping prepare for college and beyond as they apply real life situations to learning in the classroom. This way the students can understand how to take what they’ve learned and go out and apply it in the world inturn.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

I would tell other parents that it would be the best decision that they could make. That they would not regret it for a second! There is such a sense of community and caring that you do not get elsewhere.

How long have you been a TCS parent?

First year
