Why did you choose TCS for your child?

My husband and I wanted a Christ-centered education for our children. We also wanted to send our children to a school this year where they would be able to attend 5 days a week, full time. Timothy provided all of that for our family and more.

What do you love most about TCS?

The staff here at TCS have been wonderful! Everyone cares about my children and contributes to their success both academically and spiritually. After experiencing public school life for many years, TCS has brought a breath of fresh air into my children’s lives. I can already tell that the friendships my children and I have made here, will stay lifelong.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Safe. As I thought about words to describe TCS, I realized “safe” represents the many wonderful aspects of the school. I feel safe sending my children to TCS with all the precautions set in place during the COVID-19 outbreak. My children also feel this same sense of safety while attending classes. Safe also describes the fact that my children don’t have to be fearful of sharing their faith. They are also safe from the malicious agenda set forth by state laws requiring sexual education for children in elementary school. At TCS their learning environment is safe in that they are encouraged to express their opinions, to love those who may feel differently, and to understand where God’s word stands in the midst of all of this. They also feel safe to walk down the halls and not be bullied. The wonderful staff and counselor have personal relationships with each student guiding them to be kind and considerate to others. Students can feel safe to be who they are and make lifelong friendships. When a student feels safe, they are better learners. This is a wonderful characteristic of TCS!

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

All three of my children love going to school. The small class sizes make them feel valued by every teacher and that in itself encourages them to do their best. My daughter who is in high school is taking classes that challenge her and she is doing great. This year she has the opportunity to take anatomy and physiology. The small class sizes and the dedication of the teachers has driven my daughter to study and do well.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

My daughter is taking classes that are helping her decide her path for college and beyond. The studying techniques she needs to do well in class will prepare her for her life after HS.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

If you want your child to receive personalized, caring, God-centered education, then TCS is for you!
