Why did you choose TCS for your child?

We wanted a Christian education, which provides a Christian worldview context for all subjects.

What do you love most about TCS?

I love the Christian foundation, and that TCS is a small community. I feel like my children, husband and I are “known” by the TCS faculty and staff. There is definitely a family atmosphere. The diversity is also a gift. My kids have the opportunity to grow up with students and teachers with different cultural perspectives and backgrounds. I love that!

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Community – Having preschool through 12th grade on the same campus allows us to interact with students and parents at all stages of family life. I especially enjoy connecting with parents of older students, because I can learn from them.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at TCS?

My children have a solid understanding of God’s word and a Biblically informed worldview. TCS has built upon the foundation we have started. I see them growing in wisdom and knowledge in their faith.

How is TCS preparing your child for college and beyond?

I love that our teachers have coached my kids one-on-one to help them be the best that they can be, and then celebrated their unique successes and achievements. I also appreciate the time spent by teachers and administration in training the students in character development and the relevance of our faith in everyday life. A good education is about more than the report card.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at TCS?

TCS truly invests in students and families. It’s a wonderful community experience.
